Life Members
The MRSBC Life Member Award is awarded by the Committee to a Member who is considered to have provided an outstanding contribution to the club. Criteria considered by the Committee in selecting Life Members includes:
- Length of continuous financial membership with the club.
- Reliability of payment of membership dues.
- Contribution to the running of the club, and to the future of the club.
- Execution of official duties (if applicable). Note however that a member must demonstrate a commitment "above and beyond the call of duty" to be eligible for Life Membership. Carrying out ones nominated duties does not necessarily make a person eligible for Life Membership.
- Conduct of member while associated with the club. Members with mistermeaners may not be eligible for Life Membership.
- Potential for defining and participation in forging the future of the club.
- Commitment to fairness, safety and the family values of the club.
